An End to a Journey, a Start of a Family

In May, Nicole concluded her first surrogacy journey, delivering a beautiful baby girl into the arms of her parents. Although there were challenges along the way, her story is one of strength, gratitude, and love 💗 It was a journey marked by resilience, deep connection, and the joy of helping a family’s dream come true.

How do you feel physically and emotionally after completing your journey?

"Physically, I feel strong and grateful for how well my body delivered this baby. Recovery was smoother than I expected, and I’m back to feeling like myself. Emotionally, I’m doing great, there’s a deep sense of fulfillment knowing I helped create a family. Seeing them together is just the best feeling" 🫶

What made this journey meaningful for you?

"Knowing exactly how it feels to long for a child and wonder if you’ll ever become a parent is what made this journey so meaningful for me. Before we had our oldest, Matthew, we faced that same uncertainty and heartache. Being able to give our IPs their dream and lift that weight from their hearts was the most incredible gift I could imagine giving and made every step worth it. It wasn’t just about carrying a baby, it was about being part of someone’s dream coming true".

Can you share a favorite memory or moment from your journey that really stands out?

"One of my favorite memories was meeting our IPs face-to-face for the first time and having them here with us the week before baby’s induction. That week, they were able to come to an ultrasound appointment in person, and you could tell it made everything feel real for them. They got to feel her move that week and the joy and wonder on their faces made each kick unforgettable."

What was it like to see the intended parents meet their baby for the first time?

"She came so fast, and the room was a whirlwind of activity…nurses moving quickly, IM running back from the bathroom, our photographer capturing every moment. But the second they placed her on her mama’s chest, everything seemed to slow down. The noise faded, the rush paused, and all you could see was the pure, unshakable love between them in that very first moment."

What did you learn about yourself through this experience?

"This experience showed me just how resilient I am. I learned to navigate challenges with grace, to trust my body, and to open my heart in ways I didn’t know were possible. It

helped me grow mentally and emotionally, and left me with a deeper appreciation for the strength that comes from helping make someone else’s dream come true."

What advice would you give to someone considering surrogacy for the first time?

"Do your research, make sure you have a strong support system, and know your 'why' before you start. There will be beautiful moments and challenging ones, but if your heart is in it for the right reasons, it will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. And take lots of pictures, you’ll want to remember every step because it goes fast!"

We are so honored to have supported Nicole and her intended parents throughout this incredible journey! Witnessing their story unfold from the first match to the unforgettable moment they became a family, was a privilege. We’re grateful to have played a part in such a beautiful chapter of their lives.
