Her Path to Surrogacy
"After building my own family, I realized I still wanted to experience pregnancy, but this time, with the purpose of helping others achieve their dream of becoming parents. That’s what led me to surrogacy."
Choosing Collective Surrogacy
"I chose Collective Surrogacy because, from the very beginning, my coordinator was amazing. She provided me with all the information I needed about surrogacy, what to expect in each phase of the journey, and she answered all my questions. Her insights from her own journeys were invaluable, and that was the deciding factor in moving forward with the agency. The communication has been top-notch, and the turnaround time for anything I’ve needed has been spectacular."
Finding the Right Match
"As an introverted person, I felt an instant connection with the IP from our very first meeting. He showed so much gratitude, even just for taking the time to look at his profile and consider him. There were personal traits he had that stood out to me and made me feel like he was going to be the perfect match for my first journey."
Embracing Surrogacy as a Family
"When I decided to become a surrogate, my girls were incredibly supportive. They think it’s amazing that I have the chance to help someone else become a parent and start their own family. To them, the surrogacy process is something unique and special. They’ve even had the opportunity to bond with the intended parent (IP) through messages and mail, which has made this experience even more meaningful for all of us."
Excitement and Nerves Along the Way
"One of the most exciting aspects of this journey has been the friendship and bond I’ve formed with the IP. He is so deserving of this opportunity, and I couldn’t be happier to play a part in helping him achieve his dream. On the flip side, I was a bit nervous about the medical screening, mainly because I didn’t know what to expect with certain results like endometrial lining thickness or vitamin levels. But once I received medical clearance, everything moved smoothly, and with each step forward, I get more excited as we approach FET (frozen embryo transfer) day."
Looking Forward to FET Day
Right now I’m most looking forward to FET day and every day that follows. The moment I can tell the IP that he has a baby on the way will be a highlight of this entire experience. This surrogacy journey has been a beautiful experience, filled with connection, excitement, and the joy of helping to create a family. We can’t wait for the next steps!
